Sandy was a kind, thoughtful, warm and sensitive friend. We became friends when we moved down to Newton Poppleford from Berkshire in the mid-1970s. We were near neighbours and became family friends. Sandy delighted in showing us all the local beauty spots including charming Sidmouth and Branscombe and was a well-informed guide. The four of us enjoyed many excursions and picnics when exploring the area. We will all miss you dear Sandy, Anita, Paul, Simon and James Goodwin (Feb. 2025)
